The hillscene is a quarterly Maga’zine’ about all the interesting people and things happening in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, south east of Melbourne. Created by Adriana Alvarez to showcase the incredible talent in the area. This blog is a natural extension of the publication. It allows for more regular updates of current events, reviews of recent shows, exhibition launches and anything else we think is going to make you love living in the hills even more.
The hillscene was inspired by a zine bought at Melbourne’s craft fair about the crafting community both online and off, so it’s only fitting that after three years we’re starting an online venture of our own.
